CLOser is MSI’s Loan Origination Solution (LOS) for the Mortgage Lending Industry. CLOser offers a complete solution for loan origination adapting your business model supporting all lending scenarios, products, and documents.

CLOser offers a powerful client-server application which can be extended by intranet⁄web applications adding custom functionality and work flow capabilities.

Additionally CLOser offers a middle-ware (broker) called Enterprise Service Provider (ESP) that facilitates Business-to-Business relationships with vendors and channels. ESP is a scalable and high performance product that can handle large volumes of internal and external adjunct or work-flow processes. Currently CLOser uses ESP for services including ordering credit information, flood certification, title, appraisals, mortgage insurance, escrow, document exchange, and pricing and locks.

CLOser leverages 20 years of mortgage technology developed by MSI and its predecessor companies to offer a complete LOS and processing solution. CLOser handles Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, Inventory Control, Pricing and Rate Locks, and Automated Underwriting (Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter, Freddie Mac’s Loan Prospector) aspects of mortgage lending.

CLOser can handle product types including VA, FHA, and FMHA.
